Everyone has been telling me for the last couple of years to get Lexi a regular bed. (She has been sleeping in her crib turned in to a toddler day bed.), I never thought she really cared, and wanted to keep her room available for her to play in. Well Sunday Paul & I were asking her why she didn't want to sleep in her bed. And she looked at us with this look---like you two sure are dumb--and said because it is a CRIB!!!! So that did it Monday night we purchased the mattress and box springs to turn her crib into a big girl bed!!!! We had to wait until today to get them and she helped me pick out her bedspread. She is so EXCITED to have a real bed!!!!

You did it!!! WOW!!! Way to go!!! And looks like she actually slept in it....
Did you really think she was that dumb, she knew that her bed was a crib...so did Ben (he always asks me why Lexi still sleeps in a crib). Lexi is smarter than that...couldn't fool her.
more importantly how does it feel not to have some little kid in your bed
